1-Pyrrolidinyl (2-Pyrrolidinyl) methanone hydrochloride is an organic compound with the chemical formula C10H19NO. HCl.

Nature:
1-Pyrrolidinyl(2-pyrrolidinyl)methanone hydrochloride is a white crystalline powder, soluble in water and alcohol solvents, insoluble in non-polar solvents. It has a pungent ammonia odor.

Use:
The main use of 1-Pyrrolidinyl(2-pyrrolidinyl)methanone hydrochloride is as a drug with analgesic, sedative and antidepressant effects. It is a synthetic analog of endogenous brain neuropeptides, which can simulate the role of endogenous brain neuropeptides and regulate the transmission of neural signals.

Preparation Method:
1-Pyrrolidinyl(2-pyrrolidinyl)methanone hydrochloride can be prepared by reacting 1-pyrrolidinone and 2-pyrrolidinamine. The reaction may be carried out in an organic solvent with the addition of hydrogen chloride gas under controlled conditions to produce the chloride salt.
